Fancy learning how to make a deliciously spicy meal rich in flavour and that takes only a few minutes to make? Look no further: this keto pork stir fry with cauliflower rice is exactly what you need.
A good stir fry is probably only second to traybake dinners: both tasty, simple and versatile, the main advantage of sheet-pan recipes is the minimum cleanup involved (no matter if you make them with meat, fish or tofu). But sometimes a fragrant stir fry is exactly what you need.
In this easy keto recipe, good-quality minced pork is combined with a few selected ingredients to get an unexpected flavourful result. To make it, you’ll need:
- minced pork
- olive oil
- soy sauce
- balsamic vinegar
- garam masala
- medium chilli powder
- onion powder
In this recipe, the spiciness of the pork is balanced with the more basic flavours of cauliflower rice. You can use plain cooked cauliflower rice or, for a different twist, you can mix it with olive oil and garam masala.
Toppings are optional but recommended to add a touch of freshness and create a nice combination of textures. For example, try to use a mix of sliced fresh chillies, parsley and spring onions as toppings. Fresh coriander, mint or a dollop of plain Greek yogurt would work well, too.
The preparation of this keto pork stir fry with cauliflower rice couldn’t be easier:
- Over medium heat, warm up a pan with 2 tablespoons of olive oil. When ready, add the minced pork and cook, stirring frequently using a spoon, until browned.
- Carefully add the soy sauce and mix well.
- Add the spices and mix well. Cook for a few minutes.
- When the pork is almost ready, carefully add the balsamic vinegar and mix well. Keep stirring for another 30 seconds.
- Once ready, taste and adjust the amount of spices according to your preferences. Ensure the meat is fully cooked before eating it.
- In a separate pan, cook the cauliflower according to the instructions on the package. Add spices and olive oil at the end.
- Place both cooked pork and cauliflower rice in a bowl, add the toppings (if you are using them) and serve warm.
Common questions about this keto pork stir fry with cauliflower rice:
- Can I make it without cauliflower rice? Yes, it’s a delicious idea on how to serve this low-carb stir fry but you can use roasted vegetables or a fresh salad if you want.
- Can I use a different kind of meat? Technically, yes. The flavours of pork are difficult to recreate, so if you are using a different kind of meat, you’ll need to adjust the amount of spices. Minced lamb would be the best alternative.
- Is this low-carb recipe gluten-free? Yes, the recipe is naturally gluten-free. If needed, ensure all packaged products are certified gluten-free, too.

I was expecting something entirely different and to my surprise it was freaking delicious. I subbed the chili powder with cayenne pepper and added a bell pepper and shredded carrots to the meat.
I didn’t have cauliflower rice, so I shredded some cabbage as my “rice” 😂
I’m really excited that I have leftovers!
