Equipment

  • Grill or grill pan
  • Mixing bowl
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Knife and cutting board

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground lamb
  • ½ cup feta cheese crumbled
  • ¼ cup Kalamata olives pitted and chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh mint finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic minced
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon cumin
  • 4 large lettuce leaves for wrapping
  • Optional toppings: sliced tomato, cucumber, red onion

Instructions

  • Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground lamb, crumbled feta, chopped Kalamata olives, fresh mint, minced garlic, sea salt, black pepper, and cumin. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.
  • Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape each into a burger patty, about 3/4 inch thick.
  • Brush the grill with olive oil to prevent sticking. Place the patties on the grill and cook for about 5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
  • Once cooked, remove the burgers from the grill and let them rest for a couple of minutes.
  • Serve each patty wrapped in a large lettuce leaf, with optional sliced tomato, cucumber, and red onion as toppings.

Notes

Adjust the seasoning to your liking; consider adding a pinch of chili flakes for a spicy kick.
For a complete meal, serve with a side of keto-friendly vegetables or a Greek salad minus the high-carb ingredients.
Ensure the internal temperature of the lamb patties reaches 160°F (71°C) for safe consumption.
