Ingredients

  • 4 cups broccoli florets about 12 oz or 340g
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream 8 oz or 240 ml
  • 4 oz smoked salmon about 113g, roughly chopped
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese 4 oz or 113g
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese 1 oz or 28g
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp Butter for greasing the pie dish

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9-inch pie dish with butter.
  • Steam the broccoli florets until they are just tender, about 3-5 minutes, then chop them into smaller pieces and set aside to cool slightly.
  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder until well combined.
  • Stir in the chopped smoked salmon, steamed broccoli, shredded cheddar cheese, and grated Parmesan cheese into the egg mixture.
  • Pour the mixture into the prepared pie dish and smooth the top with a spatula.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 35 minutes or until the quiche is set and the top is golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

For a crustless quiche, this recipe is perfect as is. If you prefer a crust, consider making a keto-friendly crust with almond flour and butter. Allow the quiche to cool for at least 10 minutes before slicing to ensure that it sets properly and holds its shape. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat slices gently in the oven or microwave before serving.
