  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ tsp cayenne pepper (optional for heat)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top.
  • In a large bowl, combine the baking powder, salt, garlic powder, paprika, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
  • Add the chicken wings to the bowl and toss until they are evenly coated with the spice mixture.
  • Arrange the wings in a single layer on the wire rack, ensuring they do not touch for even cooking.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes, or until the wings are golden brown and crispy. Halfway through cooking, flip the wings to ensure they crisp up on both sides.
  • Remove the wings from the oven and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes
