Ingredients

  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup sugar-free salsa
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin

  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ¼ cup fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Place the chicken breasts at the bottom of the slow cooker.
  • In a bowl, mix together the salsa, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Pour this mixture over the chicken in the slow cooker, making sure the chicken is well-coated.
