Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Remove the outer leaves from the cauliflower and trim the stem, ensuring the head remains intact.
Slice the cauliflower head into 1-inch (2.5cm) thick steaks. Depending on the size of your cauliflower, you should get about 4 steaks.
In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, cumin, smoked paprika, coriander, cinnamon, cayenne, and ginger to create a spice rub.
Brush both sides of each cauliflower steak with the spice rub, making sure they are well coated.
Season the cauliflower steaks with salt and pepper to taste.
Place the spiced cauliflower steaks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Roast in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes or until the cauliflower is tender and the edges are golden brown.
Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving, if desired.
