Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • Baking sheet or pizza stone
  • Parchment paper
  • Oven

Ingredients

For the Pork Rind Crust:

  • 2 cups crushed pork rinds 90g
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese 50g
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning 2g
  • ½ tsp garlic powder 1g

For the Toppings:

  • ½ cup low-carb pizza sauce 120g
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese 100g
  • ½ cup cooked and crumbled Italian sausage 80g
  • ½ cup diced pepperoni 60g
  • ¼ cup cooked bacon pieces 30g
  • ¼ cup sliced ham 30g

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet or pizza stone with parchment paper.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed pork rinds, grated Parmesan, beaten egg, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder. Mix well until a dough-like consistency is formed.
  • Place the dough on the lined baking sheet and flatten it into a circular shape, creating a thin, even layer for your pizza crust.
  • Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 10 minutes or until it starts to turn golden brown.
  • Remove the crust from the oven and spread the low-carb pizza sauce evenly on top.
  • Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce, then add the Italian sausage, pepperoni, bacon pieces, and sliced ham, distributing them evenly.
  • Return the pizza to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Let the pizza cool for a couple of minutes before slicing into 4 portions.

Notes

Ensure the pork rinds are finely crushed to achieve a cohesive crust.
Pre-baking the crust before adding toppings helps to prevent sogginess.
For an extra crispy crust, consider baking the crust for an additional 5 minutes before adding toppings.
Feel free to customize the meat toppings according to your preference or availability.
Keep an eye on the pizza during the final minutes of baking to avoid over-browning the cheese.
