Ingredients

  • 4 fillets flounder 6 ounces each / 170 grams each
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted 30 ml
  • 1 lemon, zested and juiced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped 3.8 grams
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped 3.8 grams
  • ½ tsp sea salt 2.5 grams
  • ¼ tsp black pepper 0.5 grams
  • ¼ tsp paprika 0.5 grams
  • Lemon slices for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish with a bit of the melted butter or use a non-stick spray.
  • In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, lemon zest, lemon juice, minced garlic, chopped parsley, dill, sea salt, black pepper, and paprika. Stir to create a flavorful herb-butter mixture.
  • Place the flounder fillets in the prepared baking dish. Spoon the herb-butter mixture evenly over each fillet, ensuring they are well-coated.
  • Bake the flounder fillets in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
  • Remove from the oven and let it rest for a couple of minutes. Garnish with fresh lemon slices and additional fresh herbs if desired before serving.
