Ingredients

  • 2 tsp Matcha powder
  • 2 cups Unsweetened almond milk
  • ¼ cup Heavy cream
  • 1-2 tbsp Erythritol or monk fruit sweetener to taste
  • ½ tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Ice cubes
  • Optional: a pinch of cinnamon or a few drops of stevia for additional sweetness

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, sift the matcha powder to remove any clumps. This ensures a smooth latte.
  • Add the sifted matcha powder to a blender along with the sweetener of your choice.
  • Pour in the unsweetened almond milk and heavy cream. Add the vanilla extract.
  • Blend the mixture on high speed for about 30 seconds or until the ingredients are well combined and the mixture has a frothy texture.
  • Fill two glasses with ice cubes to the top.
  • Pour the blended matcha mixture over the ice in each glass. If desired, sprinkle a pinch of cinnamon on top for added flavor.

Notes

For a dairy-free version, substitute the heavy cream with full-fat coconut milk.
