Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 4 cups broccoli florets, chopped
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ medium onion, diced about 1/2 cup
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat and sauté the onions until translucent, about 2-3 minutes. Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
  • Add the ground chicken to the skillet. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika, and cook until the chicken is browned and no longer pink, breaking it apart with a spatula as it cooks, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, steam the broccoli florets until just tender, about 3-4 minutes, and then drain any excess water.
  • In a large bowl, mix the cooked ground chicken, steamed broccoli, and half of the shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Transfer the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
  • Pour the heavy cream over the chicken and broccoli mixture and sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese on top, followed by the grated Parmesan cheese.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown on top.
  • Remove from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
