Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • Spatula
  • Muffin tin or silicone mold
  • Parchment paper

Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond flour
  • ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ cup sugar-free maple syrup or sweetener of choice
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ¼ cup sugar-free chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ¼ tsp sea salt

Instructions

  • Start by gathering all your ingredients and equipment. You’ll need a mixing bowl, a spatula, and a muffin tin or silicone mold for shaping the fat bombs.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the almond flour and unsweetened cocoa powder. Stir them together until well mixed.
  • Add the softened unsalted butter and sugar-free maple syrup to the dry ingredients. Using a spatula, mix until all ingredients are well combined, forming a dough-like texture.
  • Stir in the vanilla extract and sea salt. Mix well to ensure that the flavors are evenly distributed throughout the dough.
  • Gently fold in the sugar-free chocolate chips until they are evenly distributed in the mixture.
  • Scoop out small portions of the dough and roll them into balls, about 1 inch in diameter. Alternatively, you can press the mixture into a lined muffin tin or silicone mold for uniform shapes.
  • Place the formed fat bombs on a parchment-lined baking sheet or in the muffin tin and refrigerate for about 30 minutes, or until firm.
  • Once the fat bombs are set, transfer them to an airtight container. Store them in the fridge for up to two weeks or in the freezer for longer shelf life.

Notes

Feel free to customize these fat bombs by adding your favorite nuts or seeds for added texture. You can also experiment with different flavored extracts like almond or hazelnut for a unique twist!
