Instructions

  • Begin by cooking your chicken breasts. You can either grill, bake, or pan-fry the chicken until it's fully cooked and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C). Allow the chicken to cool slightly before dicing it into bite-sized pieces.
  • While the chicken is cooking, fry the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until it's crispy. Drain the bacon on paper towels before crumbling it into small pieces.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the diced chicken, crumbled bacon, and shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Add the finely chopped red onion to the mixture for a hint of sharpness and texture.
  • Dice the avocado and drizzle it with fresh lemon juice to prevent browning. Gently fold the avocado into the chicken mixture.
