Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup cream cheese
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ cup cooked and crumbled bacon
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Fresh parsley for garnish Optional

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the shredded mozzarella and cream cheese. Microwave on high for 30 seconds, stir, then continue to microwave in 15-second intervals until fully melted and smooth. Be careful not to overheat.
  • In a large mixing bowl, add the melted cheese mixture and let it cool slightly. Once cooled, add the eggs, almond flour, baking powder, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt. Mix well until a dough forms.
  • Gently fold in the crumbled bacon and shredded cheddar cheese into the dough until evenly distributed.
  • Transfer the dough to the prepared baking sheet. Using your hands, press the dough into a rectangle about ½ inch thick. Cut the dough into strips to form breadsticks, being careful not to separate them completely.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the breadsticks are golden brown and firm to the touch.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. If desired, garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

These breadsticks are best enjoyed fresh out of the oven, but they can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat them in the oven or microwave before serving for the best texture.
