Ingredients

  • 2 cups Almond Flour 224g / 7.9oz
  • 1 tbsp Baking Powder 14g / 0.5oz
  • ½ tsp Garlic Powder 1.5g / 0.05oz
  • ½ tsp Onion Powder 1.5g / 0.05oz
  • ¼ tsp Salt 1.5g / 0.05oz
  • ¼ tsp Paprika 0.5g / 0.02oz
  • cup Sour Cream 80ml / 2.7 fl oz
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 4 tbsp Unsalted Butter, melted 60ml / 2 fl oz
  • 1 cup Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese 113g / 4oz
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Parsley, finely chopped optional for garnish, 7.6g / 0.27oz

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the almond flour, baking powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and paprika until well combined.
  • In a separate bowl, mix the sour cream, eggs, and melted butter until smooth.
  • Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  • Fold in the shredded cheddar cheese until evenly distributed throughout the batter.
  • Using a scoop or spoon, drop even portions of the biscuit dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  • Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and firm to the touch.
  • If desired, brush the tops of the biscuits with additional melted butter and sprinkle with chopped parsley for garnish immediately after removing from the oven.
  • Allow the biscuits to cool slightly on the baking sheet before serving.

Notes

Store leftover Keto Cheddar Bay Biscuits in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Reheat in the oven or microwave before serving for the best taste and texture. These biscuits can also be frozen for up to 3 months. Thaw overnight in the refrigerator and reheat as mentioned above.
