  • ½ tsp ground black pepper
  • ½ tsp garlic powder

Filling

  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 2 medium jalapeños, diced remove seeds for less heat
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ¼ tsp paprika

Toppings

  • 8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 4 large lettuce leaves
  • 1 medium avocado, sliced

Instructions

  • Preheat your grill or skillet on medium-high heat.
  • In a bowl, combine the ground beef with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix well and form into 8 equal-sized thin patties.
  • In another bowl, mix together the softened cream cheese, diced jalapeños, shredded cheddar cheese, and paprika to create the jalapeño popper filling.
  • Take half of the patties and spoon the filling onto the center of each one. Top with the remaining patties, sealing the edges well to create 4 stuffed burger patties.
  • Place the stuffed patties on the grill or skillet, and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
  • Once cooked, remove the burgers from the heat and let them rest for a few minutes.
