Equipment

  • Medium bowl
  • Whisk or fork
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Jar or airtight container for storage

Ingredients

  • 1 cup mayonnaise 240 grams
  • ½ cup sour cream 120 grams
  • ¼ cup heavy whipping cream 60 ml
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill finely chopped, 3 grams
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley finely chopped, 3 grams
  • 1 tbsp fresh chives finely chopped, 3 grams
  • ½ tsp garlic powder 1.5 grams
  • ½ tsp onion powder 1.5 grams
  • ¼ tsp dried mustard 0.5 grams
  • ½ tsp sea salt 2.5 grams
  • ¼ tsp ground black pepper 0.5 grams
  • 1-2 tbsp lemon juice or white vinegar 15-30 ml, to taste

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, combine the mayonnaise, sour cream, and heavy whipping cream until smooth and well-blended.
  • Add the finely chopped dill, parsley, and chives to the mixture, stirring to distribute the herbs evenly throughout the dressing.
  • Sprinkle in the garlic powder, onion powder, and dried mustard, then season with sea salt and ground black pepper. Mix thoroughly to ensure all the spices are well incorporated.
  • Gradually add lemon juice or white vinegar, starting with one tablespoon. Taste and adjust the acidity by adding more if desired.
  • Transfer the dressing to a jar or an airtight container. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld together.
  • Give the dressing a good stir before drizzling over your salad or using as a dip. Enjoy your homemade keto-friendly ranch dressing!

Notes

For a thinner consistency, add more heavy whipping cream or a splash of unsweetened almond milk until the desired thickness is reached.
This dressing can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
If you prefer a stronger herb flavor, you can increase the amount of fresh herbs to suit your taste.
For a dairy-free version, substitute coconut cream for the sour cream and heavy whipping cream.
