Ingredients

  • 1 medium head cauliflower (about 1.5 lbs / 680 g), cut into florets
  • 12 slices bacon (about 1 lb / 450 g)
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese (50 g)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)
  • 4 pieces wooden skewers (about 12 inches / 30 cm long)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Cut the cauliflower into bite-sized florets.
  • Toss the cauliflower florets with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Wrap each seasoned cauliflower floret with a slice of bacon and secure with a wooden skewer.
  • Place the bacon-wrapped lollipops on the prepared baking sheet, spaced apart.
  • Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the top of each lollipop.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the cauliflower is tender.
  • Remove from the oven, let cool for a few minutes, garnish with parsley, and serve warm.

Notes

Feel free to experiment with different seasonings or types of cheese to customize these lollipops to your taste. You can also make them in advance and reheat them in the oven for a few minutes before serving.
