Equipment

  • Air Fryer
  • Bowl
  • Measuring spoons
  • Measuring Cup

Ingredients

  • 1 medium head cauliflower approximately 4 cups of florets / 500g
  • 2 tbsp olive oil 30ml
  • 1 tsp garlic powder 3.1g
  • ½ tsp paprika 1.2g
  • ¼ tsp salt 1.5g
  • ¼ tsp black pepper 0.6g
  • ½ cup buffalo sauce 120ml
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted 30g

Instructions

  • Begin by washing the cauliflower and cutting it into bite-sized florets.
  • In a large bowl, toss the cauliflower florets with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper until they are evenly coated.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 360°F (182°C).
  • Place the cauliflower in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they are not overcrowded to allow for even cooking.
  • Air fry the cauliflower for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, give the basket a shake to flip the florets, then continue to air fry for another 10 minutes or until the cauliflower is golden brown and crispy.
  • While the cauliflower is cooking, prepare the buffalo sauce by mixing the buffalo sauce with melted butter in a bowl.
  • Once the cauliflower is cooked, transfer it to a bowl and pour the buffalo sauce mixture over the top. Toss gently to coat all the florets evenly.
  • Serve the buffalo cauliflower immediately, garnished with fresh herbs or a side of blue cheese dressing if desired.

Notes

To ensure your Air Fryer Buffalo Cauliflower is keto-friendly, use a buffalo sauce that is low in sugar and carbs.
Adjust the level of spice by using a milder or hotter buffalo sauce to suit your taste preferences.
If you prefer a dairy-free version, substitute the butter with a plant-based alternative or simply use more olive oil.
For extra crispiness, you can lightly dust the cauliflower with almond flour before cooking, but this will alter the nutritional values.
